For three and a half decades Tres Mariposas has been El Paso's finest specialty apparel store... a fashion oasis for sophisticated women.

Three ladies (butterflies) interested in fashion opened Tres Mariposas in 1970. In the ensuing years, many changes along the way have transformed Tres into the exciting business it is today. But the commitment to the latest fashions, high quality and service has never changed. In addition to our loyal El Paso customers, Tres reputation and location on the U.S./Mexico border brings fashion-seeking women from the interior of Mexico, from California to Florida and the states in between.

Customers have faithfully shopped at this unique and innovative store for two reasons: carefully selected fashions from top designers and legendary customer service.

The carefully selected, irresistible fashions are showcased in a warm and elegant setting of Texas limestone and airy 25-foot ceilings. Customers relax to the sounds of twin waterfalls tumbling down both sides of the open staircase leading to the second-floor offices.

Sunlight filters through high arched windows onto the store's rich tapestry of textures: innovative lighting, elegant finishes, cutting edge merchandising, showcasing of individual designers and trends, original art displays, and state of the art accessories boutique. Indeed, Tres Mariposas' ability to change with the times has helped it to become one of the leading U.S. specialty women's boutiques, periodically featured in national fashion publications such as Womens Wear Daily.

Tres is known for fashion, customer service and community involvement. It is not unusual for a fashion advisor to go to a customer's house or meet with them in the store after hours or on a Sunday. The customer always comes first at Tres Mariposas. Part of our success is based on helping our customer keep up with changing fashion. Tres holds a fashion-education event or trunk show every month of the year, and sometimes on a weekly basis.
