I’ve been having so much fun the last couple of weeks that I have been neglecting my column, so I had better get back on track!
I am sure that all my readers know what I mean when I say that there is nothing quite as fine as spending time and laughing uncontrollably with loved ones.
For starters, both my sisters were in town to celebrate our dad’s 87th birthday. It’s the first time we’ve been together in a long time without the distraction of “hangers-on” – you know, other relatives and such. We had a blast.
For instance, Becky, the youngest sister, decided we needed a “sister activity.” So she came up with the idea of a recreating a spa mud bath – at my house. Three of us naked and covered in mud; oh, it was a sight!
Needless to say, the laughter was over-the-top. However, the mud worked: We had glowing, soft, smooth skin afterward.
